Writers 4 Utopia
LAUNCH PARTY
On June 21st 2017, Writers 4 Utopia launched GASLIT, our queer sci-fi anthology with seven contributors from the collective. We dressed up the anarchist bookshop Spartacus Books, in the Unceded Coast Salish Territory of Turtle Island, with papercraft, fabric-craft, and summer solstice flowers.
We were joined by a lovely crowd and were overjoyed to share our works of prose, poetry, and song.
Thank you to everyone who came out, shared food, heard our stories, and picked up copies. And so many thanks to everyone who has supported us in making this project possible: the venues, community, and the collective.
We’re excited to create and share the next one.
